As a Data Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of the data-driven transformation. Working closely with business stakeholders, you’ll translate their needs into insightful reports and dashboards, helping to build a mature data culture. From refining Power BI dashboards to ensuring robust data governance, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how data is used across the organisation. Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to gather and document data and reporting requirements.
Develop, test, and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights.
Conduct business process mapping to connect operational activities with data-driven insights.
Work with data engineers to ensure clean, structured data is available for reporting.
Maintain and improve data governance, ensuring transparency and consistency in reporting.
Support colleagues in using Power BI effectively and champion best practices.
Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and proactively suggest enhancements.
About you: We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented data professional who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving. Essential:
Strong Power BI skills, including experience building dashboards and using DAX.
Solid understanding of SQL – able to read and modify queries.
Experience working with business stakeholders to capture and refine data requirements.
Understanding of data governance and business process documentation.
Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating with teams.
Desirable:
Experience with Azure Databricks or other data engineering tools.
Knowledge of the STAR schema and best practices for data modelling in Power BI.
Experience working in an operational or strategic data role within a business setting.
