With a mix of technical and business-facing responsibilities, this role offers the perfect blend of analytical challenge and stakeholder engagement. As a Data Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of the data-driven transformation. Working closely with business stakeholders, you’ll translate their needs into insightful reports and dashboards, helping to build a mature data culture. From refining Power BI dashboards to ensuring robust data governance, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how data is used across the organisation. Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and document data and reporting requirements.
  • Develop, test, and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Conduct business process mapping to connect operational activities with data-driven insights.
  • Work with data engineers to ensure clean, structured data is available for reporting.
  • Maintain and improve data governance, ensuring transparency and consistency in reporting.
  • Support colleagues in using Power BI effectively and champion best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and proactively suggest enhancements.
About you: We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented data professional who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving. Essential:
  • Strong Power BI skills, including experience building dashboards and using DAX.
  • Solid understanding of SQL – able to read and modify queries.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to capture and refine data requirements.
  • Understanding of data governance and business process documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating with teams.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Azure Databricks or other data engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of the STAR schema and best practices for data modelling in Power BI.
  • Experience working in an operational or strategic data role within a business setting.
